Message:   Hi all,

Let me introduce myself, I’m Eddy from The Netherlands and found your website trough google.
Last summer I went diving in the Red Sea, especially to the wreck of the SS Thistlegorm.
The SS Thistlegorm was British armed Merchant Navy ship built in 1940 by Joseph Thompson & Son in Wearside, England. She was sunk on 5 October 1941 near Ras Muhammad in the Red Sea.
She was 128 metres / 419 feet in length and 18 metres / 59 feet wide, 4,898 gross tonnes
In the early fifties Jacques-Yves Cousteau discovered her using information from local fishermen.
In the early 90's the ship was rediscovered by sport divers

I’m so impressed by the wreckage that the most logical thing for me to do was to build a replica of the ship, however I tried to find a model for over 5 months now without any luck.
Does anyone know if there is a model available of the Thistlegorm.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Eddy
