Thanks for posting, Steph.
I've from 'team1'. I've had a couple of emails from your colleagues, and it will be good to get some dialogue here on our respective experiences. I understand that in your group a number of people were travelling together. In ours, only two guys knew each other beforehand (but they're only friends - sorry, 'in joke'). However, everyone gelled very quickly, and one I thing I miss is the 'camaraderie' which built up so quickly.
Not sure I understood the 'Neltner express' reference, but we had our own disturbances - night 1 we had the hound from hell calling to his friend in the next country all night. Night 2 it was the gale force winds. My main memory of Neltner was the sound of the mules calling out in the fog - like that scene from Jurassic Park with the Brontosauruses.
One or two people have expressed an interest in another similar trip. They do, however, take a lot of organisation (including local politics...) so I suspect it may be a while before TBag can sort anything out. They have shown some interest, so lets get some ideas down here; and anyone who might be keen to go, get your name down here as well ...
I understand there may be up to three articles being written/published about our exploits. Watch out for Wanderlust, Trail and the Guardian. Hopefully respective authors will let us know when publication dates are.

Replying to: Hi All from Group 2 and of course everyone in Group 1,
It seems a life time ago that our fantastic feat happened watchining all the mules carry down all our rewarding hard work. Now we have all got back to the roundabout of everyday life -sleeping,working long hours and drinking heavily (that could be just me) also never having enough hours in the day to do everything!(instead of course of not sleeping due to the Neltner express train coming down the mountain, trekking and picking up rubbish! supervised by the one and only CAPTAIN CRAP!
I personally would be interested in any other trips and I know that some of the other girlies in our group would be interested as well.
Thanks everyone for a great trip,
especially Paul for arranging it (how are you lips?) and Rory for being Captian Crap (have you washed your socks yet?)
