my grandfather was charles douglas tomalin, he competed in the 1936 olypic games as a high and spring board diver (finished 8th)and was the empire champion for two successive games. he was also a very distinguished oficer in the RAF.... aircommadore and served as military atache to south africa and was awarded MBE OBE and CBE (and DFC(during WWII))...i know he was brought up in london and had a very big family.he never talked of them much but i know a couple of brothers were killed in the navy in WWII and i met his sister tommy who emmigrated to oz there were other brothers that we don't know about.....just wandering if we're connected ....would love to know...he had two sons my father and uncle(obviously) who, between them had six children(me being one) and there are currently six children in the new generation....//would love to hear from you...Robin
