Your Rant on Soccer
Your anti-soccer rant is absurd. I guess you don't like a sport that doesn't require players to be oversized thyroid cases or abnormally tall. A sport that emphasizes skill and fitness and requires very little external "gear". That's why soccer is the world's game. Nobody in this country is out to destroy the "traditional' American sports - it's just your paranoia and resentment. How can I say this? Record numbers of kids and adults playing soccer in this country. A relatively new but blooming professional league. Unseen success by adult and youth national teams in world events. |
