I heard a rumour that there's a game tonight @ 730. Anyone confirm or deny?

Re: friendlies

Was a neutral at the Hendon vs Wembley game. My opinion were that Wembley were/are absolutely shocking. They would do ok in a third division sunday league, but they should really consider opting out of Saturday football. 8-2 Oh please.

Re: friendlies

Looks like Hayes are sending their 1st 11 tonight, not a youth side as some thought...

Re: friendlies

from the negative threads, i ask what is the difference from when ian took over last season and now since you are getting a full understanding of what ian wants as a team and how he wants wembley to play? also what are your predictions for the season

Re: friendlies

in all honest Ian has built the team around himself...the formation they are playing allows Ian to have minimal input, minimal responsiblity and the othe two midfield players are having to do his work whilst he does his prima donna bit and tries to play hollywood passes, which to date have not come off. when you are playing three at the back you are always vunerable to a speculative ball down the sides of your defence and you can see the manager has NOT drilled his side on how to play the system the are playing..and i think its time people stopped blowing sunshine up his @ss and told him to put the effort in that his skill dictates. Great player but coasting and hurting the other 1o players.

Re: friendlies

Apparentley The Lions have a friendly away against Witham on Saturday. However according to their website they are away to Brentwood???

http://withamtownfc.co.uk/

Surely we are not sending a team all that way to play their reserves???

Re: friendlies

that in itself is an open secret, ian has always known he can do what he wants at wembley. what ian has to do is get those around him to use him as much as possible in order to get the maximum out of him. if his being a luxury there are two ways to look at it, he either works harder for the team or sits more on the bench and use jomo in his position. honestly i don't know if ian see's it that way also the team cannot escape criticsim as the team has at times let themselves down on more than one occasion
