Subject:   Arthroscopy Following Total Knee Replacement (TKR)
Name:   Richard Henning

Message:   HELP! My spouse had TKR and has "locked up" post-surgically with about 85 degrees flex, with pressure, less without pressure. A manipulation was only able to achieve about 90 deg flex, presumably from adhesions and scar tissue around the surgical site.

What are the pros/cons of arthroscopy on the replaced knee to remove invasive scar and adhesion tissue to enable greater range of motion (ROM)?

Thanks!
