Message:   I am 45 yrs old and this will be my 2nd hip revision. Is there anyone who has had this more extensive surgery to revise their hip and with what kind of results? I have had severe rheumatoid arthritis since 1976 and both my hips were replaced in early 1980's. I am currently in a lot of severe pain and this seems to be my only option. I am very afraid of having the surgery as my surgeon really didn't give me any positive feedback as to the sucess rate of this more extensive surgery only negatives. If there is anyone who has been thru this, I would appreciate the feedback. Thank you.
