Picture if you will, the portrait of a class. A class who's very destiny is one painted in greasy oils and withering pigment. Submitted for your approval by the Night Gallery...
...and that's really all the ones I feel comfortable posting without permission. We all took thousands of pictures of the beautiful models that posed for us. Would it be in bad taste to post some of the less risqué ones on this thread?
Argghhhh
Why in the hell wasn't I there?????????
Hey Thom, if you have some model pics I'd be glad to get some on private mail. I definitely need some material.
I have thousands, it took 8 DvDs to hold them. I bought another hard drive to store them all when I got home and I've been sorting through them ever since.
I could burn a copy and send them to you, or if you prefer I could just e-mail you the best ones I found so far.
The raw files were the space eaters. Honestly, unless you're going to be doing a lot of photoshop work on them, you can just use the jpgs.
They're high enough quality to be great reference if you're just using them as a guide. If you want to do a lot of tweaking to the original photo to get it exactly like you want your composition or if you want to do a photo piece then I'd go with the raw.
I would definitely like a copy. JPG is fine for me. I am used to Photoshop and don't need heavy RAW format.
Let me know about the DVDs and shipping costs.
While I know better than to post pics of a model shoot here on the internet, I didn't even consider the fact that posting a pic of the black and white picture of the "80's hair" might offend someone.
While I seriously doubt anyone would notice or care, it does raise the issue that we have to be careful with what we do many of the images we have. I really don't want to get Larry in trouble over something like this.
I propose that whatever format we choose for the next message board we need to have some sort of private threads for the art students. That way we can exchange information and whatnot without attracting unwanted attention.
That is part of what I am looking into for a newer forum program. I agree that there needs to be some sort of safeguards in place for posts that are just between us.
I absolutely agree, lol, most of us know each other through art class trips and such, so we post things about inside jokes and all that, but I guess some "strangers" who comes and read our stuff must be like "wtf?!?" lol ;-p Not that I truly care, but I guess sometime it can be confusing .... ?
