We have been notified that one of our VO-67 brothers, Ed Landwehr has passed away. This is sad news indeed. Sharon and I had the honor to sit with Ed and his wife Jan at the VO-67 reunion banquet in Washinton DC. Ed,although ill, remailed very up-beat while around his VO-67 brothers.
Ed was one of the elite group of thirteen Ghost Squadron sailors to use the famous Norden Bombsight. These thirteen were the last to use that sight in actual combat.
We will miss Ed at our reunions. Thank you for serving your country.
