I HAVE PLAYED IN IT A FEW TIMES THE ONLY REASON I REMEMBER THAT IS THEY USUALLY HAVE IT ON A DEER HUNTING WEEKEND (THAT WAS A HINT FOR JOE ALSO. LOL)

If you go into sixarrows.org they list their tournaments. I know there is a tourney in Mille Lacs in November, but I don't remember which one it is.

We had a Six Arrows event there last year & hoped to get another one but were unsuccessful. Apparently pool players don't gamble enough. HAHA
So no tournament there with Six Arrows anyway - drat!

I called and they still had a 'pool tournatment 2". Joe/Linda: Do you need to take this off their books or is someone else having a tournament up there???????

The LCO Casino in Hayward, WI has a tournament in November (Dr. Pool), but I'm unsure of the date.

I just called Mille Lacs and talked to Events, Entertainment, & the Sales depts. None of them know about any pool tournament. Nothing on the calendar. Our next Six Arrows tournament is Hinckley, Jan. 20-2.
Note to BillyB: My statement about pool players & gambling was facetious as I know most pool players love to gamble!!:)

Joe, you need to forward these messages to the Mille Lacs Casino Marketing department, I for one as a Band Member of Mille Lacs, did not like the response of what they told you, that pool players do not gamble enough! and I disagree with their marketing departments remark! any kind of business within our Casino's, to me is good business, regardless if your a gambler or not.

I agree...maybe everybody doesn't spend thousands of $$$ on gambling, but we definitely spend $100's before the weekend is done....whether it's in the lodging, restaurants and some in the casino

Or, at least I do....normally more in the casino than in the restaurant!!!

Come on now Janene. The casinos are the ones frontin the thousands added. They want to make money. There not doin it to support pool. Its all about the Bling baby.

OK, you figured out it was me. I still don't think I should have to donate to the casino to play in a tournament.

Prove to me they're not making a lot off rooms, etc. Are they turning people away to hold the pool tournament.

I guess if we're stupid enough to continue donations, can't blame them for taking it.

I emailed the casino. There is a tournament that weekend and if you want further information they suggested you call Kellie Gretschmann at 1-800-626-5825 ext 8574 (whoever that is). I personally can't make this one, but have fun whoever goes!!!

There is no Pool tournament at Grand Casino Mille Lacs this weekend. None in the future either.
