I just found this website and thought it was great...my mother's maiden name is McGovern. She has 2 brothers and 3 sisters, all of which live her in california. Thought maybe I'd find some relatives. My grandfather was born in February 1912, his name is Joseph Francis McGovern he had a sister name Lillian and a brother named Owen. My grandfather was born in Illinois...I'm not sure about his brother and sister. So if any of this sounds familiar...let me know.
