Who was Thelma talking to on the phone?

Like the subject says. who was Thelma talking to on the phone in episode 4(I think? last night's episode anyway)

any ideas? I did miss the first episode..

yeh that was a weird one but the answer is that she was phoning the Samaritans helpline.
