This is a sort of poem/prose or whatever it happens to be. I wrote it about some photos I had taken of me... Tell me what you think of it: what you like, don't like... I'd appreciate it!

Remnants of Angels...

Fragmented crystals lie scattered...within my reach. I just cried a thousand and one tears for what's left, but tears won't heal what's broken.
Scatter the feathers and make wings anew...but you still can't fly.
So you just fall onto the gray carpet that sometimes consumes the light...that's why the nights are so dark. They'll be even darker now...the light can't fly above the darkness on broken wings. And where are her crystal shoes...?

Sharp bracelettes adorn my wrists...and I place a carnation upon the remnants.
Wake in the mourning of your fractured hope...decomposing rapidly.

Remnants of angels...

We are all falling apart...bits of ourselves dripping onto the floor. Most just wash it all away with soap and water. Deterioration of self...
The windows are tinted black...and color bleeds.

From the inside looking out...
It's as easy as looking through a window...
Except someone broke the glass...

Remnants of angels...
And death to hope...
