I've other friends that care,
Many people to laugh with.
So many give gifts of love,
And share reasons to smile.

There are others I can turn to,
Comfort is easily found now.
Never again to be all alone,
No more to fear no-one cares.

Other men would call me theirs,
Making no bones of their desire.
Wishing to be part of all of me
And drink deeply of my passion.
Still I want you.
I know that "We" will never be,
Yet my sweetest dreams are of you.
Knowing your touch, voice, and passions,
Is a longing that will never leave me.

Despite the known impossibilities,
