In the NOW sunset?

In my pajamas, curled up in the big padded chair on my patio, the sun is setting in the distance. The sky is a kaleidoscope of gold, corals and red violets. I am so glad I arrived home at this time of day. Lemuria seems to have entered my mental domain as home.

The streets of Lemuria were empty when I stopped at the apartment to pick up the latest journals. Even Phil was closed. Once I entered the courtyard to my house on the side of the hill, my heart slowly felt the peace I have created here. I thought I would find that in the Abbey but I found I was directing my thoughts and actions too much and influenced even more by all the creative, talented new people who entered. Here in Lemuria I seem to be more myself; separate but apart and prepared to enter adventures that I do not preplan or even know the conclusion .

Death has haunted our family once more. My grandson (21) was killed on Highway 55…the mountain road up to our valley. It is not supposed to be that way. We older were meant to go first. My poor daughter and son in law are still struggling and I…well, two weeks have passed and I am here to try once more to enter the NOW. At this moment I am simply me, alone, viewing the marvelous art work of God in the sky.

BLISS in this lifetime? Heres hoping, with Winnie, that Elvanore is maping the way...it would make it so much easier to get there. Perhaps we have to set out ourselves, alone. Lemuria, do you have another adventure for me to go on?
