Surabaya to Bali. Any help out there?
Hi all,
My family moved to Surabaya, Indonesia 5 months ago (wife's gov job). I've learned the nuances of Indonesian cycle riding here on my Suzuki Thunder 125. Sorry cc goblins, I just couldn't rationalize any more bucks for a bike with more cc's that I'm going to have to sell in 18 months. The flow of traffic appears to be madness at first, but there's definitely a system that works here. Think "video game" that you can play as fast or slow as you like.
Anyhow, I'm planning a road trip at the end of May '07 from Surabaya to Bali (Denpensar) and would appreciate any input from those with greater knowledge. If I don't hear anything, I'll still check back in and let you know how it went. Many thanks and good riding to all
