Ever since TransLink announced they would be taking and partially taking our properties for a new ROW our neighbourhood has been a buzz with stories about what we can individually and collectively expect. Most of the information has been pure speculation. It would seem to me that it would be in everyone's best interest if Translink called a meeting and told us all at the same time what legislation and established practices dictate. However, it seems unlikely that this will happen.
Although I do not want to hire a lawyer to represent us just yet, I for one would be happy to pay a professional fee for a brief talk from an informed, impartial third party who could provide this service at a Lower Mainland (BC) location. Does anyone know someone they could recommend?
