Hello, I have a building in Ontario that is being expropriated by the city along with 40 other derelect properties in a downtown area. My building has great economic life. I have not maximized the potential of the buiding. I have not raised some of the commercial rents, nor have I raised the rents for some of the tenants on limited income. The current revenue is below the performance level that I would have it achieve if I were to try and sell the building. I also had some plans and drawings done to generate another $28,000 per year, but I have numerous projects on the go, and just haven't had the time to complete it. I have retained legal representation for this as I don't want to lose the property. I was wondering if anyone reading the forum may have advice.
