If you want to discuss shots, there is a really cool tool called a "Cue Table." It allows you to position balls on a table in order to set up shots. It requires a Macromedia Shockwave plug-in.

Congrats Rich Cunningham

From an ACS press release:

The seventeenth stop of the 2005/2006 McDermott All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) featured a $1,000-added purse and fifty-six players hosted by owner Todd Grosvenor and director Gary Holdren at Greenfield’s Pool & Sports Bar in Lakewood, Colorado, on the weekend of March 18-19. The event featured double-elimination 8-ball on 7-foot Dynamo bar boxes. Rich Cunningham of Burnsville, Minnesota, marched undefeated through the winner’s bracket, defeating Chad Pointer (Aurora, CO) in the winner’s bracket semi-finals 5-0 and Sam Cordova (Pueblo, CO) in the winner’s bracket finals 5-4. Prior to his loss to Cunningham, Sam Cordova had knocked off Rick Field (Lakewood, CO) 5-0. In the loser’s bracket finals Field fell at Cordova’s hands again by a 5-3 margin, thus earning Sam a title shot at Rich Cunningham. Cordova was up to the task, as he out pointed Cunningham 5-3, 5-2 for the Tour win.

By virtue of being the highest-finishing ACS member, Rich Cunningham won a free entry into either the 2006 ACS National 8-Ball Championships or the 2006 ACS National 9-Ball Championships – courtesy of the ACS. The ACS wishes to thank sponsors McDermott Handcrafted Cues, Silver Cup Chalk, PJ’s Billiard Supply Co. and Samm’s Side Pocket Productions for their support in donating “Value-In-Kind” product for this and all stops on the McDermott All American Tour. Sponsorship opportunities are still available by contacting the ACS. A major local sponsor of this event was Cue Tech Pool Schools.

Saturday, March 25, will feature Miller Time Billiards in Davenport, IA, hosting a $500 added 8-ball McDermott All American tour stop (for onsite entry details contact Terry Anderson at 563/359-7225). Information and schedules for the 2005/2006 McDermott All American Tour are available at www.americancuesports.org www.
