If you want to discuss shots, there is a really cool tool called a "Cue Table." It allows you to position balls on a table in order to set up shots. It requires a Macromedia Shockwave plug-in.

Re: Re: Re: Shooters Wed. Night Tour. Un Fair?

As I was just learning the game when i was younger and playing in the wednesdady night tourney I always wanted to be one of the guys giving out a lot of weight. yeah it sucks giving so much weight but in the back of my mind I just wanted to get to that level in my game. It was great motivation to practice and get better. it's helped my confidence a lot as well. Especially when my opponent accidentally splashes in one of their money balls 4 times in a row to beat me 4 to 0. fun stuff.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Shooters Wed. Night Tour. Un Fair?

I grew up in southwestern minnesota, and there were a fair share of good players, then the casino tour started at jackpot junction and the level of play there was awesome I went got my butt kicked the first couple times but the things I learned and took away from those tournaments made me a much better player and smarter as well. I eventually started winning matches, I made it to the money 1 time but never placed top 5 or better. I guess what I am trying to say is If you want to be a player play a better player dont be scared or complain you want a spot or need this or that just suck it up and play. Even to this day when I match up against a well known strong player I find I play better! Just my 2 cents on the issue.
