If you want to discuss shots, there is a really cool tool called a "Cue Table." It allows you to position balls on a table in order to set up shots. It requires a Macromedia Shockwave plug-in.

I grew up in southwestern minnesota, and there were a fair share of good players, then the casino tour started at jackpot junction and the level of play there was awesome I went got my butt kicked the first couple times but the things I learned and took away from those tournaments made me a much better player and smarter as well. I eventually started winning matches, I made it to the money 1 time but never placed top 5 or better. I guess what I am trying to say is If you want to be a player play a better player dont be scared or complain you want a spot or need this or that just suck it up and play. Even to this day when I match up against a well known strong player I find I play better! Just my 2 cents on the issue.
