If you want to discuss shots, there is a really cool tool called a "Cue Table." It allows you to position balls on a table in order to set up shots. It requires a Macromedia Shockwave plug-in.

Pool with a Broomstick????

Yes, with it being Halloween time, I'm hosting my annual "Broomstick Pool Tournament" on Saturday, November 1st, at The End Zone in Elko. Entry Fee is $10 per player and $100 is added to the event. Depending on the number of entries it'll either be a race to 2 or 3, double elimination. AND LEAVE YOUR CUES AT HOME. All play will be done with a broomstick. I'll provide a broomstick for each match, but if you bring your own that's fine as long as you don't modify the shooting end (no tips, rubber, or leather on the end). You can, however, modify the rest of the stick to look as fancy as you like. Last year my broomstick looked like a really cool pool cue! Free $10 bar tab to the most creative broomstick!!! After the tournament, play some BUDGO (our bar version of BINGO) for a chance at $250 cash and some great door prizes.
The Pool Tournament starts at 1 p.m.. BUDGO starts at 6. For more information, call The End Zone at 952-461-4441. See you there!!! John Stich
