If you want to discuss shots, there is a really cool tool called a "Cue Table." It allows you to position balls on a table in order to set up shots. It requires a Macromedia Shockwave plug-in.

Re: registration fees at pool tournaments

Yes, registration fees are necessary in order cover the overhead of running the event - especially when paying for labor and/or tables. However, I always advertised them in the flyer if they were being charged. If not advertised, then they shouldn't be charged. It's that simple. Players come to these events in good faith and they don't need to be mis-led in any way. I'm sure it was an oversight by the tournament organizer (not to put it on the flyer). If you point that out to him or her, I'm sure they'll put it on the flyer next time. That's nothing to hide - it's a valid charge. Take Care. John Stich
