If you want to discuss shots, there is a really cool tool called a "Cue Table." It allows you to position balls on a table in order to set up shots. It requires a Macromedia Shockwave plug-in.

Help! Pool Software

I am trying not to reinvent the wheel.
I plan to run a small 8-team league this summer and I am looking for some software or freeware for league stats.
Scheduling would be nice too, but not necessary
Does anyone know where there is a free download out there?
Have you made your own that you are willing to share?
I would sincerely appreciate your assistance.

Re: Help! Pool Software

Microsoft Excel will do the trick.

Re: Help! Pool Software

Microsoft Excel is ok but there is some software that can be much better, I just don't happen to remember what's it's called. Another option is to try myleague.com

They have systems for lots of stuff, you can have people signup at your league site for example "myleague.com/poolshooters" (You choose your URL) I use to use it for an online league that I had. But yea they have systems for like putting down statistics, ratings, and even brackets for tournaments. You can make a Tournament, schedule the time, and have a Number that you have to type in to enter the tournament. It's kind of confusing to use but once you get it working it's actually pretty easy.

If you try this then I recommend clicking on "Take a Tour" at the site. Hope I helped

Re: Help! Pool Software

go to www.in2pool.com this is the software the whole state of Iowa uses and it works awesome..check it out..there is a fee involved for this program..

Re: Help! Pool Software

I used Excel for my leagues, and there can be problems doing it manually. It's possible to write scripts to make it easier as well. You can use free schedule generators (for round robin, ect.) by searching on google.
