If you want to discuss shots, there is a really cool tool called a "Cue Table." It allows you to position balls on a table in order to set up shots. It requires a Macromedia Shockwave plug-in.

APA Masters League

The APA has a Team format for Higher Level Play called "Triple Play Masters".

* Must be APA members.
* Up to a maximum of 4 players on roster.
* Team may choose any 3 of the 4 team members to participate in each match.
* NO SKILL LEVEL LIMIT.
* Follow USAM rules and format.
* Race-to-7 (8 games of 9-Ball and 5 games of 8-Ball).
* Players will lag with winner having choice of game (8-Ball or 9-Ball) or the break.
Once the format has been chosen, the entire set of that format must be completed before
moving to the next format.
* Team will earn one point for each game won
Teams can earn a miximum of 21 points per night.

8-Ball
Open after the break, call pocket, jump cues allowed.

9-Ball
Push-out after the break, jump cues allowed.

Each year we hold an event (APA Masters Championship) in Las Vegas during the APA National Team Championships in this format, locally we will advance teams to this event in August each year.

Starts at 7pm on October 22nd, 2009

$21.00 per Team match ($7.00 per Individual match)
$15.00 Table-time per Team ($5.00 per player)
