Have looked at the marvellous collection of stills I was reminded of the superb performance of Joyce Grenfell as the hotel proprietress.




Wwas the sequence shot on set at Pinewood or did they use an actual hotel for the scene (especially the bit in the reception / foyer).




I can imagine them constructing a set for the bedroom bit but the foyer seems too complex to build for just a minute or two.




Any ideas ?
