info on Capt. Alvie J. Ledford

Hello, I wear the bracelet for a pilot that was in this unit, Captain Alvie J. Ledford, KIA 4-13-69, and was hoping for anyone with memories or pics of the man to contact me. Thank you all for your service and WELCOME HOME.

Re: info on Capt. Alvie J. Ledford

I have one picture of cpt. Ledford posted on dtroop.com, under photographs name of jim petersen,
i served with him from march of 1968 till 4/69, although i did not crew his ship, i did crew a gunship, all the pilots flew different ships if their ships were in for maintence. He was one of the most well liked Officers in the company. I am sorry for the Ledford Family's loss, and there is not a day that goes by that i dont think about him, I currently live in Tucson Az. when i retire next June one of my first trips will be to Afton Ok. to visit his marker. sincerly Jim Petersen
