Greetings from a descendant from St L.


By chance, typed Strothotte in Goggle and am amazed.


My Strothottes from Guetersloh came to St. Louis in 1858. Dr.(MD) Arnold and sister, who married Carl Meister of Hesselteich and came to St. Louis The latter were my Oma & Opa.


I am 5th generation in St. Louis. Mother was a Goessling from Herford. They came in 1853. 6 of my 8 German families are from Westphalia.




I am delighted to meet all of you.




I have been collecting family history for many years and have the origibal passport and mariage licience from 1857, etc. Collecting everything for a book nexr year, THE GOESSLINGS of HERFORD
