opportunity knocks!!!

Recently on the t.v. news and again last night the government was appealing to young ones to get involved in trade schools since the attendance is very low and a major lack of interest in the building trades. At present there's an urgent need for welders and other aspects of the steel industry. the few apprentices that are at school are being snapped up by companies in dire need of welders. Starting wages being $32.00 p.h. Professionals are coming here in droves only to end up working in fast food places, driving taxis, working in hotels at minimum wages, all because they have "no Canadian experience" or there is a glut of them available. Too many people want only white collar jobs while middle of the road jobs (with good pay) go begging. This is certainly food for thought for anyone wishing to emigrate.
