Well...the 2006 season is already over, with the exception of the last bash in Gillette. For me this was the most memorable season ever. This was the first season that my son Dalton, and myself have ever been able to race start to finish. I have to say that after becoming involved with CDR, I have met some real cool people! Robert Grant, Kristi Grant, and Cindy are at the top of that list. Though the list of members is large, only a select few make it to the meetings, or out to help with the events that we do have. That is really sad. Those of us that do come to help tend to have a lot of fun even though the work load is rather large. Before the last race we had a few people crop up that were very interrested in helping out. I tip my hat to those people. I hope that you continue to give your support into next season. I know that we don't all have tons of time to put in, but an hour or two here and there is enough to make a big difference in the end. Over the winter we will be building plans to improve the facility...one phase at a time. Again, we can always use sponsors. If you know someone that runs a business, ask them to contribute. As you well know, we have a spot reserved for them on the website. Also, we will be working on more recruitment through advertising for the next season. I'd like to encourage the non-members out there to join in on the fun. I won't miss another season with all these great people.
