Being one of those that Tom and Greg refer to as "one of the few" I thought I might thought I might throw in my 20.5 cents here ( thats the cost per day of membership. Your buddy cant afford it? Bull****.)Since becoming a CDR member two years ago I bet that for every hour I have spent riding the track on my bike I have spent ten riding it in an ASV or front end loader. Its a sand track, so it goes to hell fast and takes a lot of work. On raceday, while some are kicking back in the AC of their camper or watching the motos I'm watering and patching holes. Like Tom said, nobody asked me to do this and I'm not looking for kudos, I do it because I am a MEMBER. I do it to CONTRIBUTE. I don't put in near the time that Tom and Greg do at the track (and off) but I do what I can. I CONTRIBUTE. That seems to be too much to ask for the majority of our members who can't even be bothered to get out of their truck and lock the gate so nonmembers aren't tearing up the track. Who can't be bothered to make their friends pay for a membership (how many thousands have we spent on diesel Greg? how many thousands did the sprinkler system cost Tom?).I think I'm gonna have to throw my hat in with you guys on this one. If people don't start giving a **** around here........ I'll find somewhere else to ride.
