WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Man's Problem: SIN

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."(Romans 3:23).

"For the wages of sin is death........."
(Romans 6:23).

"....all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth." (Revelation 21:8).

God's Provision: THE CROSS

"...."Christ died "FOR" our sins accord to the scriptures; ....He was buried, and He rose again the third day...." (1 Corinthians 15:3 - 4).

"God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died "FOR" us." (Romans 5:8).

God's Gift: SALVATION

"....the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23).

Man's Responsibility: FAITH

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8, 9).

The Result: PEACE WITH GOD AND ACCESS

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1, 2).

"In whom (Christ) we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" (Colossians 1:14).

The Assurance: SEALED

"In whom (Christ) ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also, after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,...." (Ephesians 1:13).

If you are convinced by God's word that you are a sinner, and that Christ died "FOR" your sins, you can be saved this very moment. Simply trust in the shed blood of Jesus Christ as the total, sufficient, and complete payment for your sins. God loves you and desires to save you. Receive His gift of salvation by trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Make your decision now and His life will be yours.

The Bible teaches universal salvation.

The Bible teaches universal salvation.

Based on my experience of posting on many hundreds of forums, here's what's going to happen now.

The people who want to keep believing that the Bible proves that everyone deserves to suffer forever in hell just because they were born into this world, or because they don’t make the “right” choice before it’s “too late,” or that God created beings with a will so strong that they can irreversibly choose themselves into a state of eternal torment - these people will keep believing it because they want to.

But people who want to believe that the Bible nowhere supports such a concept of God will examine the evidence contained in HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE at http://concordant.org/expohtml/HisAchievement/index.html

and they will learn that the Bible actually teaches universal salvation instead, not even annihilation.

Or, they will go to the search engine at the top of http://www.tentmaker.org and will type in a key word or phrase from any argument or scripture passage. Ten articles will come up refuting the claim that the Bible teaches eternal torment. WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Before you can know where you are going when you die, you must first know what you are. Paul tells us we are made up of three parts.

I Thes. 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are a spiritual being (I Cor 15:44). God has a Spirit the Holy Spirit.
We have a body (the outward shell) that falls off at death (II Cor 5:8). God has a body, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have a soul (Mark 8:36). God has a soul, God the Father.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

God made man in his own image (Genesis 1:26). God made man out of the dust of the ground (the body). He breathed into him the breath of life (the spirit), and he became a living soul (the soul).

Jesus when he died on the cross, He said, “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit,” (Luke 23:46). The spirit went up, it went into heaven. His body went to the grave or the tomb of Joseph. His soul went right down through hell but was not left there (Acts 2:27-31) but went to a place were the Old Testament’s Saints were waiting for the perfect sacrifice. There was a place called hell where all the lost people went and there was a place for the ones that did what God told them to do called parades or Abraham’s bosom (Luke 16:19-25).

Eph 2:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

9: (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10: He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Jesus takes the ones that were in Abraham’s bosom to heaven because now their salvation was complete (Matt 27:52-53). God remitted sins all through the Old Testament, but they were not redeemed (Heb 10:4; Ex 34:6-7). A saved person on this side of the cross dies; he is absent from the body and present wit the Lord (II Cor 5:8). People who believe that there is no hell but believe they just go to grave, don’t believe what the apostle Paul tells us in Philippians 1:23 to depart, and to be with Christ is far better. The unsaved person this side of the cross dies, where does he go? He can’t go to heaven because he has not believed that Christ died for his sins (I Cor 15:1-4). He can’t go to Abraham’s bosom because it is empty. He can’t go to purgatory because there isn’t any purgatory. He goes straight too hell (Luke 16:23; Mark 9:44, 46, 48; Matt 25:41). He stays in hell until the great white throne judgment when death and hell is delivered up and judged and then cast into the lake of fire (Rev 20:13; 20:15).

Rev 14: 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

How could the unsaved be in the grave if they were delivered up out of hell?

The saved person that goes to be with the Lord when he dies must also be judged but not at the same place or time as the unsaved. He will be judged at the Judgment seat of Christ not for his sins but for the things done in the body where they are good or bad (I Cor 3:12-15; II Cor 5:10). After the judgment seat of Christ, rewards will be given for the good things he has done and he will receive a body fashioned like unto his glorious body (Phil 3:21).

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

If you were to die right now and God were to ask you, "Why should I let you into my heaven?" Could you now say with confidence based on the authority of the Word of God, Because Christ died "FOR" my sins!

What must I do to go to Hell?

Nothing. Even in the kingdom program offered to Israel, the Lord tells us in John 3:18 “but he that believeth not is condemned already,” Paul tells us in Roman 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death;” Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” We are all born sinners and need payment for our sins, which we are unable to do on our own. We must recognize that we are sinners and trust only in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ shed for us on the cross. To get to heaven, we need to stop trusting our own works and trust what Christ did for us on the cross. Salvation is nothing more than our faith in what Christ did to pay for our sins (I Cor 15:1-4).

There are many ways taught to get to heaven and they all sound good but these ways will send you to hell:

Believe in God. James 2:19 the devil believes that there is one God and we know if this is all we believe then it is not enough.
Get water baptized. Acts 2:38 Peter tells us to receive the Holy Spirit we must be water baptized. I Cor 12:13 Paul tells us that it is Spirit baptism that saves us not water.
Do the best you can. Romans 3:11 there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not. So what work can you do that will be accepted by God?
Join a church. No church membership can save you. Many are baptized when they are infants and become members of a church. How could this save you?
Quite all your bad habits and start new one. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,
Live by the Golden Rule. Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Make Christ Lord of your life. Romans 10:9-10 believe in thine heart.
Ask Christ into your heart. I Cor 15:1-4 you must that Christ died for your sins, and that he was buried and he rose again the third day.
Confess your sins and turn from them. Mark 1:4 John preached the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. II Cor 5:17 Paul tells us that after we are saved we become a new creature, old things are passed away behold, all things are become new. After salvation we can repent and turn from our sins, not before. Example: Does a drunk have to stop drinking and clean himself up before he can be saved?

Since everyone is going to heaven, some by way of the lake of fire, the answer

to your questions is a no brainer.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

a no brainer

LOL I like it when you insult yourself instead of real Christians.

Does God send people to hell?

Part 1 of 2

Ephesains 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Gen 3:3 "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' "

Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned--

Adam ate of the forbidden fruit, in open rebellion against God. This original sin signified man attempting to become his own God and denying the truth of God’s word. This was nothing subtle but an open hostile attack on God’s authority. Upon eating this fruit Adam died an immediate spiritual death and eventually also died a physical death. Because we are offspring of Adam we have inherited this sin nature from Adam.

God is holy and that is why he abhors sin. Anything that is not absolutely pure God separates himself from. It is sin that keeps us from entering heaven. Nothing unpure can enter into heaven. There is nothing man can do to cleave sin from himself and without God’s intervention we are doomed to spend eternity in hell.

Gal 2:16 "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Some have attempted to do good works, thinking if they can earn their way into heaven. They feel that if they eventually do enough good works it will outweigh the bad. Nothing unpure can enter into heaven and simply hiding the bad behind the good will not work.

Isa 64:6 But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Rom 3:10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;

Others believe that they are deserving of heaven or at least have not done anything that should disqualify them from entering into heaven. These people clothe themselves in their own righteousness, often comparing themselves to murders, rapists, thieves, or other malcontents. When they do this they come out smelling good and wonder what type of God would not allow them entrance into heaven. If you come knocking on God’s door dressed in your own righteousness, God does not see you as a creature of beauty but as a creature dressed in filthy rags. In God’s eye you are no better than the murder you compared yourself to earlier.

Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

1Co 15:3-4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Act 16:30-31 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."

People often accuse God of SENDING people to hell but that is as far from the truth as you can get. God has given people a choice. He has thrown the doors of heaven wide open and shouted COME ALL. All who answer the call are welcome. But if you do not want to enter God can not force you. So, if you refuse to spend eternity with God by your own choice, it is you, not God who has determined your eternal future. So won’t you answer God’s call and spend eternity in heaven. The only thing required from you is to accept God’s gift of salvation by trusting in Christ and what he accomplished in our behalf.

Rom 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Some people avoid answering God’s call because they feel they may have committed an act that would bar them from heaven. If this is the case do not let this stop you. God has declared there is none righteous and no one is qualified to enter heaven. It is not what you have or have not done that determines your entrance into heaven but what God accomplished with the Son on the cross of Calvary

2Co 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

God in the ultimate act of mercy and love sent his perfect sinless Son to die our death. (Pay our penalty for sin). Every sin we have committed or will commit Christ has already died for. All we need to do is believe in God and accept this wonderful gift and we are guaranteed to spend eternity with God. What a wonderful truth!

Does God send people to hell? Part 2 of 2

As you can see God does not SEND people to hell. He sacrificed his Son, so that ALL may enter the gates of heaven. There are only two choices: heaven or hell and he has left that choice to us.

To get a better understanding of God, a good study would be to study some of his characteristics. Look up and study passages that reference his attributes. Here is a partial list: God is just, righteous, merciful, love, faithful, God of peace, God of hope.

After you do this study you will get a better picture of God and you will see He is not a cruel, unjust, unrighteous God who would send people to hell but a righteous, just, merciful God who has done everything necessary to secure your eternal salvation.

1 Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Chirst Jesus.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

"For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be SAVED BY HIS LIFE" (Rom. 5:10).

"...Even so by the righteousness of one THE FREE GIFT came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous" (Rom. 5:18-19).

"For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23). Do we receive a gift and then try to work for it to keep it?

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Millions of people are striving to make themselves acceptable to God by good works. Such people can never be sure of salvation, for the simple reason that they can never be sure whether they have done enough good works or whether they have done them in the right way. Some suppose that heaven can be won if our good works outweigh our evil works, but this does not make sense either, for good works are what all of us ought to do and even one evil deed would prevent a just and holy God from justifying us or admitting us into His presence.

Let's not put the cart before the horse. God does expect good works from His children but not as payment for salvation, for eternal life and glory could not possibly be bought at any price. "Christ Jesus came into the world," says the Apostle Paul, "to save sinners" (1 Tim. 1:15). Then, having saved them by grace, He expects them to do good works out of gratitude.

It is interesting to compare Tit. 3:5 with Tit. 3:8:

Tit. 3:5: "NOT BY WORKS of righteousness which we have done, but ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US."

Tit. 3:8: "…these things I will that thou affirm constantly, THAT THEY WHICH HAVE BELIEVED IN GOD MIGHT BE CAREFUL TO MAINTAIN GOOD WORKS…"

Faith is the root; good works the fruit. Thus we read in Eph. 2:8-10:

"For by grace are ye saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

70 Ways To Better Understand The Bible

2 Tim 3:16
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Tim 2:15
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1. All Scripture is written to us, but not for us.
2. Never let one verse contradict the entire Bible.
3. Never let an obscure passage contradict a clear one.
4. Never let an if contradict a verily. (ex. Heb 6:4 & John 5:24)
5. Don't dwell so much upon what a passage does say.
6. Use reliable teachers. (Commentaries, Reference Material)
7. Use the original language. (Young's, Strong’s, and Crudent’s Concordance)
8. Never let presuppositions interfere with biblical teachings.
9. Never trust feelings over God's Word.
10. Popularity does not always follow being true to God's Word.
11. Remember the Bible is God as well as God's Word. (John 1:1)
12. Time is sometimes the best teacher.
13. Never study for others alone.
14. Determine the Dispensation & Age of the passage.
15. All doctrines are intertwined.
16. If one doctrine is misinterpreted other will be out of sync to some degree.
17. You can not literalize and spiritualize a passage at the same time.
18. Check passages in the Four Gospels and Acts to see if they're repeated in Paul’s Epistles.
19. Most things in the Four Gospels belong to the Dispensation of the Law.
20. Try to get the overall or big picture.
21. Although the Bible doesn't say it in one place, it may say it somewhere else.
22. Don't be afraid to admit if you don't understand something.
23. Mark your Bible.
24. Allow the Bible to mark you.
25. Study with an attitude of prayer and reverence.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

The Bible says we are not capable of doing enough good to save ourselves. Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come SHORT of the glory of God;

The Bible says the Lord Jesus Christ paid for all our sins. He did not miss any of them, now or in the future.

Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses;

The Bible says he paid enough. Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.

A Christian once remarked: "Before I learned the truth of my eternal security, I held on to Christ with one hand and tried to serve Him with the other; but when I realized that both Christ's arms were around me, and I could never be lost, it left both my hands free to serve Him!"

JUSTIFIED

Read: Rom. 5:1,9 & Rom. 3:24

Justification is based upon the justice of God and declares that God is
absolutely right, when He saves the sinner. The sinner receives
justification before a just God. For God to be just, means that God is right.
For the sinner to be justified means that he is made right. Justification is
much more than merely being pardoned. When a criminal is pardoned, his guilt
is recognized and the pardon merely excuses him from paying the full price
for his crime. There is no declaration of justification whatsoever. When the
sinner is justified by God, he is declared not guilty. The sinner, before he
is saved is guilty before God (Rom. 3:19,23). When he places his trust in the
Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work a Calvary, God declares the sinner
not guilty--Go acquits him of all his guilt (Rom. 3:24, 25). This is the
negative side of salvation.

The positive side concludes that the sinner is perfectly righteous.
This, of course, has to do with the believers position, his standing before
God. It has nothing to do with his practice in the world. The practices of
the believer are subject to ups and downs. The believer's practices are
subject to his appropriation of all that God makes available to him in His
marvelous grace. Even though our state in the world as we live before men is
imperfect, our standing before God is absolutely perfect. Justification is
wholly by grace. It is based on no merit of the sinner. It is all by God's
matchless, marvelous, unmerited grace. It is appropriated by faith (Rom.
5:1).

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Two things are very important

To know Jesus Christ as your Saviour so as to be sure right now of your eternal destiny.

To know what is the right truth for the believer today so you can walk in its fullness.

Why?

So often the Lord's people ask the question, "Why ," when they are called upon to endure suffering, pain, heartache and sorrow. Some become bitter toward the Lord about it. Some lose their testimony. Some begin complaining instead of praising. Some allow hardness of heart rather than meekness of spirit to prevail.

Job is a good example for us all. He apparently never knew the reason for his sufferings but in the midst of his deepest trials, he was able to say "I know that my redeemer liveth," and, "though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." Job retained his testimony and his faith. He proved by experience that the Lord is tender and merciful and that 1 Corninthians 10:13 is true. "There hath no temptation (trial, testing) taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful Who will not suffer (allow) you to be tempted (tried or tested) above that ye are able but will with the temptation (trial or testing) also make a way to escape that ye may be able to bear it."

However, while Job didn't know the reason for his sufferings, God has revealed to us in His Word that Job's patience in suffering vindicated God and shut Satan's mouth. Satan was proved to be a false accuser and a liar.

As we near the end of this age of Grace, those who are faithful to Christ must expect greater trials and more severe persecutions. They may often be called upon to suffer without knowing exactly why. Let us not forget, however, that, "If we suffer with Him, we shall also reign with Him." The battle may be severe but the victory will be glorious. "Thanks be unto God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." ( 1 Corinthians 15:57).

Gospel Or Religion?

There is many religions, but only one Gospel. There's a big difference between the religion and the Gospel.

The religion is the work of man, but The Gospel is The gift of God.

The religion is what man can do for God, but The Gospel is what God already did for man.

The religion is man seeking God, The Gospel is God seeking man.

The religion is for the man to climb the ladder of his own righteousness hoping to meet God at the very last rung. But The Gospel is for God to get down from the ladder by the incarnation of Jesus-Christ to meet us, sinners, at very last rung of that ladder.

The religion is good will, but The Gospel is good news.

The religion transform the man on the outside, but the Gospel transform the man from the inside-out.

The religion wash on the surface, but The Gospel washes white as snow.

The religion teaches the law (by good works), but The Gospel teaches faith (by grace).

The religion talks about many false mute gods, but The Gospel talks about one True living God.

The religion talks about many impersonal gods, but The Gospel talks about One personal God.

The religion talks about many ways, but The Gospel talks about only One way, Jesus-Christ.

The religion focus on self (me, myself and I), but The Gospel focus on Him, Jesus-Christ.

In other words, the religion let the man as he is, but the Gospel take the man as he is and make him as he should be.

Is your faith in religions or in The Gospel (of Jesus-Christ)?

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

“The demons also BELIEVE, and tremble,” James2:19) but nowhere in the Bible are we told they believe on Jesus Christ as their Saviour. They DID believe on Him as their coming tormentor and destroyer. See Matt. 8:29; Heb 2:14; 1 John 3:8. And they also believed “there is one God.” But multiplied millions have so believed and died eternally lost! Believing “there is one God” will not save, but believing on Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour will! John 5:24; Acts 16:31.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Our Lord said in John 8:32: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." To this the religious leaders replied: "We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest Thou, Ye shall be made free?" But our Lord answered: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin" (Ver. 34). Paul says the same thing in Rom. 6:16:

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

Sad to say, many sincere religious people think that they can free themselves from sin by putting themselves in bondage to the Law, the Ten Commandments. This never works, for the Law can only condemn the sinner. Rom.3:19,20 declares that the Law was given "that every mouth may be stopped and that all the world may be brought in guilty before God.. .for by the law is the knowledge of sin."

Again we have to turn to Christ for salvation and true
liberty. He "died for our sins" (I Cor. 15:3) and has "re-deemed us from the curse of the law" (Gal. 3:13).

Having believed this and trusted Christ as Savior, true Christians serve the Lord, not from fear, or to gain favor, but out of sheer love and gratitude. This is true liberty and this service is the only kind that God desires from us. Prob-ably no man ever served the Lord more sincerely or tire-lessly than the Apostle Paul. In II Cor. 5:14 he gives us the
secret: "The love of Christ constraineth us ...."

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Some say they contradict each other, that James teaches salvation by works and Paul salvation by grace.

Which one is right?

Both are!

James is not written to the church the body of Christ it is written to Israel.

Notice: James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

These verses do not contradict one another. One passage is written to Israel the other to the church the body of Christ.

Righteousness is given as a free gift and not something that we earn.

"...Even so by the righteousness of one THE FREE GIFT came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous" (Rom. 5:18-19).

"For no other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's WORK shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's WORK of what sort it is. If any man's WORK abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's WORK shall be BURNED, he shall suffer loss: BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED: yet so as by fire"2 (I Cor. 3:11-15).

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

The work of Christ is the only work required for our salvation. Nothing needs to be added to what He has done. We are "complete in Him" (Col. 2:10).

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (Rom.8:35).

There have been individuals who thought the doctrine of the believer’s eternal security in Christ to be a dangerous heresy. They countered every Scripture on the subject with another to refute it. But in each of these cases it was this great truth, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ”, that finally persuaded them.

It is significant that the Apostle Paul never tells us about his love for Christ, but he is always telling us about Christ’s love for him and for others! The Law commands: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God”, but grace puts it the other way, telling us how deeply God loves us — and this begets love in return. The Apostle experienced discouragements that would have caused him to give up the work of the Lord a thousand times, but he could not. Why? He says, “the love of Christ constraineth us?” (II Cor. 5:14); it bore him along like a strong tide. No doubt he had this very thing in mind when he continued writing in Romans 8.

“For Thy sake we are killed all the day long...accounted as sheep for the slaughter” (Ver.36).

And therefore defeated? Far from it!

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us” (Ver.37).

Not only do we win the battle; we are “more than conquerors”, for these adversities serve to draw us into still closer fellowship with Him, thus enriching our Christian experience.

When people or nations engage in battle, generally no one wins; both lose. But Paul's personal experience serves as the foremost example that in the Christian life, “tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril [and] sword” bring us more than victory when borne for Him who loved us.

Thus this great chapter opens with “no condemnation” and closes with “no separation”, and the Apostle, gathering all the forces of creation together, whether they be time, space, or matter, declares that none of them can separate us from “the love of God, which is [manifested] in Christ Jesus” (Vers.38,39). Whether it be death or life, heavenly principalities, things present or things to come, height or depth or any other created thing — none of them, nor all together — can threaten our security or separate us from the love of God, which He has manifested to us in Christ Jesus

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Many people have truly come to know Christ as Savior
after having been sincere, religious "church members" for
years. Though faithful supporters of some earthly church
organization they had never experienced the truth of II Cor.
5:17: "If any man be in Christ he is a new creation." It is
possible to be a member in good standing of some church
organization, yet be outside of the one true Church of which
the Bible speaks.

This is because the true Bible Church is not an organiza-
tion but a living organism, a spiritual body, with a living
Head and living members. Again and again St. Paul, by
divine inspiration, calls the Church, the Body of Christ. He
says: "We being many, are one Body in Christ..." (Rom.
12:5). "Ye are the Body of Christ, and members in partic-
ular" (I Cor. 12:27). "We are members of His Body" (Eph.
5:30).

How do we become members of this true Bible Church,
the Body of Christ? First, we must acknowledge ourselves
to be sinners in God's sight, for Ephesians 2 relates how
Christ died for sinful men that He might "reconcile" them
to God "in one Body" by the cross (Ver. 16). Thus, when
believing sinners are reconciled to God by faith in Christ,
they are regenerated, given a new life, by the Spirit, and by
the Spirit are baptized into the Church, the Body of Christ.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit" (Titus 3:5).

"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body" (I Cor. 12:13).

Every one of us should ask himself: "Have I been bap-
tized by the Spirit into the Body of Christ?" If not, trust
Christ as your Savior and become a member of the one true
Bible Church. Then associate yourself with some local as-
sembly where Christ is honored and the Bible taught,
"rightly divided."

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Have you ever wondered why your life lacks true meaning?

The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer! And we would like to share with you the following basic steps to believing what God has told us.

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Believe this and be Saved:

1. Realize you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 and Romans 5:12

2. Realize you can't do it yourself. Eph. 2:8-9 --Eph. 1:7

3. Realize that Christ died for your sin. 1 Cor. 15:3

He DIED in OUR place.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

JESUS is the WAY to new Life.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Cor 5:17

HE GIVES INNER PEACE
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified (ACQUITTED) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

HE GIVES FREEDOM
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

HE GIVES ETERNAL LIFE
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

REST, FOR HE HAS DONE IT ALL
4. Realize He has done it all, now walk in Him 2 Cor. 5:21, Colossians 2:6

THANK God that He has RECONCILED YOU TO HIMSELF, receive HIM as your SAVIOR.

To commit yourself, to allow Him to have His way, Pray this.

"Heavenly Father, I have seen that I am a sinner, still in the life of Adam, and that I have committed sins. I believe you sent your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die in my place for my sins. I also believe He rose again, now lives, and right now I receive Him into my spirit as my Savior. I surrender all that I am, all I have, and all I shall be to you Lord. Thank you for having taken care of the sin problem at the cross, and for making me a new creation in Christ. Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. Amen."

“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Rom. 10:9).

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Like the foolish Galatians, untold numbers of Christians still labor under the law, thinking to please God. But He has told us, "By GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any many should boast" (Ephesians 2:8, 9). "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage" (Galatians 5:1).

How blessed we are to live at a time when God's plan of salvation has been fully revealed, and that we can now look to the Lord Jesus Christ and exclaim with Paul: "He loved me, and gave Himself for me!" (Gal. 2:20).

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

No amount of good works or church traditions can save you. If you try to approach God and present your own righteousness.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Salvation is for eternity. Once your saved you can not lose your salvation. Otherwise it wouldn't be salvation but probation .

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Paul wrote: "Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." (Galatians 6:7-10)
Galatians is a letter Paul wrote to warn Christians about turning from a life of Grace to a life of Law. Grace brings freedom. Law brings slavery. Paul's message of salvation had freed the Galatians from their guilt. False teachers had followed Paul into the region and preached a message that brought guilt back to the Galatians. Paul asked the question brilliantly: "Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?" The answer, of course, is that they received the Spirit by faith. We don't receive Christ by human effort. We also cannot attain our spiritual goals by human effort. We attain by Grace through faith. That is the essence of GraceLife.
Prior to the words about reaping and sowing, Paul wrote: "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." (Gal. 5:1) He also wrote: "You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Gal. 5:13-14) Paul told the Galatians: "...live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature...if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law." Paul enumerated the acts of the sinful nature and the fruit of the Spirit. They are opposites. That is the way it is between unsaved and saved. God will do different things in the lives of His children than will Satan in the lives of his children. We ought to know because we once belonged to Satan.

In the words just preceeding "reaping and sowing," Paul wrote about carrying the burdens of others. He also wrote that "anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor." Then, Paul wrote: "do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." This has nothing to do with whether a Christian will go to heaven or hell. That's been settled in heaven once and for all (Eph. 1:3-14). In Galatians, Paul is dealing with the way a Christian lives their life. They can lead it any way they want since they're free. But ... what Christians should do is live their lives for God and others, not themselves. A life lived selfishly is a life wasted. A life lived for God and the good of others is a life lived well. Pleasing your sinful nature is wasting the time and resources God gives you. None of it will last through eternity. Paul wrote, "Everything is permissible'---but not everything is beneficial. 'Everything is permissible'---but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others." (1 Cor. 10:23-24). The context deals with the way we live our lives in view of other people.

The day will come when every Christian will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, "that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad." (2 Cor. 5:10) You and I have nothing to fear from sin in our lives. Christ paid for all sin. We are holy in God's eyes. What we should concern ourselves with is how we are living to please God. That's the big issue now. Eternal life is ahead of us. We will someday spend eternity with God in heaven. Our time on earth is the only time we'll ever have to live for Christ while still in sinful flesh. We get new bodies in heaven. We leave the sinful flesh behind. It will be easy to obey God in heaven because we won't have a sinful cell in our new bodies. Now is our time to demonstrate to God our deep and abiding love and thankfulness to Him for His Grace toward us. God knows the pull that sinful flesh has on us. He knows how much strength and character it takes to say "no" to sin and "yes" to righteous living.

Paul was telling the Galatian Christians then, and is telling us now to live a life dedicated to God and doing good to others. Sowing and reaping are an intregal part of the physical and spiritual laws God designed into the system of life. Paul tells us how to get the most out of both.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

You may express your belief through Faith on what Christ did at Calvary plus Nothing.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

"For OUR gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance...." When we believe Paul’s gospel, we have that assurance of being true "FOLLOWERS OF THE LORD"(IThess.1:5,6).

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

"We have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace" (Eph.1:7).

Nevertheless, we can, and should, draw nigh unto Him, through faith in His blessed Word, the Bible. Read especially the epistles of St. Paul, over and over again, until they become part and parcel of yourself, for therein is our only salvation:

"WHEREFORE HE IS ABLE TO SAVE THEM TO THE UTTERMOST THAT COME UNTO GOD BY HIM, SEEING HE EVER LIVETH TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR THEM" (Heb.7:25).

There is no peace in this world, so worth having, as "peace with God".

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Sometimes we get the idea that yes, we're saved by grace through faith, but now that we're saved, the Lord puts us on a "works system." We have to be good enough to keep our salvation. We can't really be sure we're going to heaven, because we don't know whether we'll "endure to the end." Here, again, knowing about the "administration of God's grace" that the Lord Jesus revealed to the Apostle Paul for us is the open door to a really blessed Christian experience. Not only are we saved by grace, but our standing before God every day is in His grace! "We were welcomed by faith into this grace in which we stand..You are not under law, but under grace." Romans 5:2 & 6:14 How does law work?

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for
ye are not under the law, but under grace.

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY ?

The law says, 'Obey and God will bless you, disobey and God will curse you.' (See Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 15-16). Many Bible teachers today are teaching law instead of grace. They say "Give your tithes and God will bless you." "Be obedient and God will bless you." Wrong!! This is the essence of the law. "Obey and be blessed, disobey and be cursed."But Paul says we're not under law. We're under grace, we're standing in His grace. And remember how grace works... "If it is by grace then it is no longer by works..." Romans 11:6. Our standing with God is not on the basis of our works, not our obedience, not our tithes ... it is entirely on the basis of His grace, every moment of every day! Blessed with all spiritual blessings already by grace (Ephesians 1:3), everything that we do today for the Lord is motivated not by fear (Romans 8:15) but by gratitude (Colossians 3:17)."Thank you Lord that you have already blessed me with every spiritual blessing, that you saved me by your grace in which I am now standing, that you have begun your good work in me and will carry it on to completion" (Philippians 1:6).This is the Lord Jesus'

The cross, truly a mystery. Who was it that hung upon that cruel cross on golgotha nearly 2,000 years ago, and what was it that was accomplished?

Accomplished? There were many crucified by the Romans before Jesus of Nazareth, and the only thing those crucifixions accomplished was the brutal, torturous death of yet another miserable sinner.

So why was this crucifixion different? What qualifies this particular crucifixion as a mystery?

Well, it is a mystery because this particular casualty not only did nothing to deserve such a horrible execution, He had no sin whatsoever. He was made in the likeness of sinful flesh, yet without sin (Romans 8:3 & Hebrews 4:15). He was truly a spotless lamb. Indeed, He was THE one and only spotless Lamb.

This crucifixion marks the greatest single event in human history. God the Son going voluntarily to the cross to bear all of mankind's sins upon Himself: a great sin offering for all of humanity, once for all
.
"And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified" (Hebrews 10:11-14).

At the cross of Calvary, the grace of God far eclipsed the sin of man.

What does all of this mean to us? The Bible says that all of us have sinned, and are continually falling short of the glory of God. That's the bad news. The good news is that God is declaring wrong people right because He is completely satisfied with Christ's sacrificial death on the cross. This Godly righteousness becomes ours through faith, and faith alone, the moment we accept Christ's death as our own. Won't you accept Christ's death as your's right now?
