I'm so impressed with your mission statement. It's wonderful to know that there are people in the world who will cherish these animals!

I rescue Parrots & others. My home could be seen as an aviary. My flock consists of 13 Parrots & 3 Cockatiels. They are not caged. Some were rescued from horrible situations while the others were give-ups by people who had no clue. There are 5 bonded pairs & 1 mated pair.

I am looking for a sanctuary which will give them a home when I leave this Earth. I'm planning ahead. Once found, I need to find responsible people to transport them. This all seems to be impossible!

I am looking into your website because I am interested in giving a parrot a home. I am an animal lover. My dad recently passed and had a talking parrot, Nene, which lives with my mother now but it\'s an amazing bird and I\'ve always wanted one. So, if I can help with housing one, by all means let me know. My family and I will love to welcome one home.
Thanks and keep up the good work.
God Bless you!\"\" \"\" \"\"

I saw an Amazon in a pet store on 125th St in Manhattan. He was in a tiny, filthy cage. It made me sick and I talked to the owner who basically ignored me. What can I do?

I cannot take the bird in because my flock is already too big.

Very nice site. I am the proud owner of two blue and gold macaws which I have had for the past 15 years. I am getting older and will someday have to get rid of them which I cannot see doing because I love them so much...but I was wondering what the procedure is to bring macaws to you? Do u furnish the cage or do we bring our own? I can see you love your birds so much and I would want them to be where I know they will be loved and cared for. Thank you so much.

I am the owner of a female cockatiel & a male Blue-Head Pionus that I love to pieces. They are both such good company & a joy to live with. I am in awe of their intelligence. I prefer animals to people & feel that your pets/animals will always treat you better than any human. Unlike humans they don't disappoint you. I was raised with animals & could never live without them in my life. They surpass humans in intelligence by far. I could never survive without them.

Hi Gene and Priceless Parrots,
I just wanted to make sure that you received the package I sent in early August with toys for the parrots. I would love to know if they are enjoying them.
Hope all is well, and thank you for doing what you do.
Best,
Amy Rockefeller

I am looking to adopt a Macaw or congo African. Have owned birds and bred them with great success and love. Presently find myself on disability due to a bad fall but wishing for company since my horse can't come into the house. Took care of and fell in love with my uncles African but after he passed on my cousin took the bird and broke both our hearts. I have grandchildren that LOVE birds as much as I and can provide a wonderful home for the birds life time. I love this site. Loved the music. If anyone hears of a bird needing love please contact my email. I am well educated in medical field, have lived/ worked a farm since I was a child and financially able and willing to care for them, Sincerely ~Ellen

I believe you may have taken part in rescuing a green wing Macaw from my ex. When she was no longer able to care for Macey you stepped in. That was almost 4 year ago. I now live in Albany and now that I found you, I want to say from the bottom of my heart , Thank You

I have known Marietta and Gene for many years starting with the Long Island Parrot Society. I have done several outreaches with them including the Hampton Classics and the Pet Expo for several years. They are wonderful people and I hope them the best. I am still involved with rescue but on a very limited basis. I work with my Vet Dr Rob Pisciotta on a consultation basis to help with behavioral issues for some of his clients and do on occasion take birds to add to my flock. My purpose is to help people work out their problems with their birds and try to prevent rehoming or placement to a sanctuary. I wish Marietta and Gene all the best

My love for parrots and belive it or not raptors and a link from a South Carolina rescue led me here. You have done what I only dream of being able to do. My heart goes out to all the parrots that become unwanted because people get them as trophies or do not know what happens when they reach maturity and can't help what happens to them. I have worked with crippled raptors and helped them be saved from being put down because they cant be set free. I have 2 crippled parrots, a sun conure and a quaker. Nobody wanted them. I did and they sometimes make the best companions. I'm sorry for my soap box. You keep on so people like me can keep believing in hope for the "unwanted".
