Riley is an 8 year old going on 1 he will always be a puppy Im glad to say he is the highlight of our household,even has his own spot on the sofa we call the kissing booth.Always has a stuffed animal in his mouth just like the parents we met that day we pick his chubbiness out of the crowd. This coming March will be 11 years with dog Maggy from Silmaril Kennels. Silmarils Magnolia is her proper name. I came to the site because I am researching the possibility of getting Maggy a brother or sister. Until recently I was a single career women and Maggy has been my true companion through it all. It was very sad the Maggy's mother died from the birthing process but she turned out to be an amazing dog and I was very glad I chose to purchase my puppy from you. Cheers:))))))

We took home our 1st baby from Silmaril Kennels in Sept 1997 as newlyweds. Molly (Good Golly Miss Molly) was an amazing dog that became a part of our family overnight. She helped us welcome 3 beautiful children into our home, showing such patience and love to all of us. Sadly, Molly passed away Oct 5th, 2009 at the age of 12. We feel so blessed to have had her in our lives, and we will miss her forever! Thank-you Rick & Michelle for all of the care and work you put into breeding such wonderful dogs. When the time is right, we will be back to add to our family again!

We purchased our dog from Silmaril almost 5 years ago. We have never been more happy, he is great with children. We receive compliments on him on a daily basis when we take him for a walk. His fur coat, his teeth, and his gorgeous looks...all from Silmaril and the great breeding and temperament that these Golden's have. What a joy to have and a great member of the family. An incredible personality, Dudley has shown us loyalty, unconditional love, play and the most amusing quirks! He faithfully collects socks in the morning, and waits patiently for homemade cookies at night...An absolute joy, Dudley is a registered Pet Therapy Parner with the Delta Society and volunteers with children at the Paws for Reading program, and with patients of St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton in the Mental Health & Addictions Program. We purchased our first Golden from Silmaril and we sooooooo love our dog. He is now almost two years old and gets more lovable as time goes by. In fact, we adore him so much that we will be getting another puppy from you soon. (Hopefully this spring/summer) I cannot give higher praise to you and the work you do. As a matter of fact, two of our neighbours went straight to Silmaril Kennels and purchased a puppy right after they saw our "Boomer".
