Message from Earl Swift

Received this from Earl Swift. Earl was with the recovery crew on Phou Louang mountain while our Crew-2 was recovered. He had a great article in the Parade Magazine covering the recovery. I have several copys of the magazine if anyone would like one.

Hi, Mr. Reynolds.

Just wanted to thank you for posting the notice about my book on the VO-67
Web site. It means a lot to me, coming from someone associated with the
squadron; my trips to Laos, and in particular to Phou Louang, opened my eyes
to the risks the crews faced and the great debt the rest of us owe to you
guys. I hope the book does justice to the men who didn't make it home.

Thanks again,
Earl Swift

Re: Message from Earl Swift

I just received my copy of Earl Swift's book, '"Where They Lay". It is tough for me to read that much but it is very interesting. Total "BZ" to Earl.

Re: Re: Message from Earl Swift

I WAS THE DETACHMENT COMMANDER FOR DET 3 DURING THE EXCAVATION OF THE VO-67 CRASH SITE IN LAOS. I'M TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH EARL SWIFT TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON HIS NEW BOOK, "WHERE THEY LAY". DOES ANYONE HAVE HIS E-MAIL ADDRESS?
THANKS.
RESPECTFULLY,
