Huracan brake job quote made me dizzy

Huracan brake job quote made me dizzy, anyone know if ceramic pads are worth the hype for Dubai roads?

Honestly thought I was prepared for the running costs when I finally pulled the trigger on the Huracan but the first service light for the brakes popping up made my stomach drop a bit because I've heard the dealership numbers can get properly silly for these carbon ceramics and I'm not exactly trying to finance someone's new boat just to stop at a traffic light on SZR. A buddy of mine with a McLaren was telling me there are a handful of independent specialists around Al Quoz and DIP that do these cars for way less than the main dealer but then you start going down the rabbit hole of "are they using OEM Pagid or some aftermarket stuff that's going to squeak like a rusty gate every time I pull up to valet at the Four Seasons" and it's a whole thing. I was killing time on my phone and ended up on www.brakepadreplacementdubai.ae/brands/lamborghini-brake-pad-replacement just to see what the ballpark damage might look like for a set of pads and now I'm more confused because it seems like there's a whole spectrum between the full carbon ceramic redo and just slapping on some low dust semi metallics and calling it a day. Curious if any of you lot have actually run the alternative compounds here with the heat and the constant stop start traffic because the last thing I want is brake fade when I'm taking the on ramp a little spirited or worse having the dash light up like a christmas tree because the sensor is having a meltdown over something silly, just trying to figure out the sweet spot between not getting robbed and not turning my car into a liability.
