11 years. Miss you buddy. Thinking about all the great memories today and laughing out loud at my desk - my co workers think I am a little crazy. I could only imaging them meeting you in your gold Elvis suit! Love ya Buddy and miss you so much.

It has been 10 years, but to be completely honest, there is rarely a day or week that passes where Peter has not crossed my mind. Whether it\'s picturing his smile, hearing his contagious laugh in my head, or recalling a special memory, he will forever have a place in my heart. Love to Peter and his family.

I recently moved back to Winchester. We live on Main Street so I think of Pete often as I walk by his memorial in front of the Junior High. The thought of him always brings a - I guess the word might be bittersweet - smile. To focus on the sweet, it just makes me laugh to remember all the goofy nonsense we all used to get into together. So many fond memories.

It has been ten years and the memory of Peter still makes me strive to be a better man. I miss his smile, I miss his laugh, I miss his unyielding dedication to his friends and family. Peter\'s kind of love truly last forever. To his family: Peter is the best friend I\'ve ever known and at such a young age he was also the best man I\'ve ever known. You have so much to be proud of. I can only thank Peter for his friendship by offering the kindness he showed me to others. I want to take this time to thank you for raising such a special person. Thank you!

I spent a lot of time yesterday thinking about a person I never met. I couldn\'t reconcile that which we all must experience with an existence that seemed so pure and full. What is clear is that Peter had a loving, dynamic family, one in which a boy and a man could become whomever he wanted to be. I am sorry that I never had the chance to meet Peter, though glad that I know a group of people who nurtured and were nurtured by such a great person.

All anyone can ask is to be remembered and Pete was among the most memorable kids even today. He was the rare kind of person that makes you better as an individual for having known him.

I can\'t believe it has been ten years. So much has changed in our lives. Many of us have gotten married, had kids, and have started to watch them grow up. Every time I have a new fatherhood experience, I tend to think of Pete and say to myself, \"What a shame Pete didn\'t get to experience this.\" As I tried to line up my son and his teammates for little league pictures, I am talking to these 6 and 7 year olds trying to be funny, trying to get them in line, and I couldn\'t help but think ... \"You know who would have been great at this ... Pete French.\" But God had other plans and he took our friend Pete before he could experience this kind of stuff. As much as we needed him down here, I guess God needed him more. His memory still rests in all of us, today and everyday.
