Wilson is from Brunswick County. I've had the pleasure of going down there for 38 years and I have seen Bryan's work all around the town of Shallotte. I finally got someone to tell me how to make contact with him. To see the art he has hanging in his home is one of the most exciting thing I have had the pleasure of doing in a long time. He and his wife are lovely people and I enjoyed the visit. Anyone should be honored to have his art in their home.

A Google search for the picture I'd recalled seeing at Holden Beach's Fantasy Isle Ice Cream and Miniature Golf in May 2004.

Some friends and I decided -- just before Thanksgiving -- to order a print of the Fantasy Isle Ice Cream and Miniature Golf for some other friends for Christmas (a group of 9 of us went together to Holden Beach this past May and absolutely fell in love with all that the area has to offer). I didn't get to order the print until this past Wednesday, hoping it might still arrive before our friends' Christmas Party on December 11 (next Saturday). The print arrived yesterday (Saturday)morning -- a week to spare! What a beautiful QUICK delivery!

When my husband and I were opening it last night, I was even more impressed with the care that Mr. Varnam took to make certain that it was delivered safely to us! And the picture itself -- Well, it was gorgeous and looked so real that I almost felt as if we were walking up to the Fantasy Isle to get our ice creams and miniature golf clubs last May! Wonderful, wonderful work, on all counts! I KNOW that my friends are just going to LOVE this Christmas present for years and years and years to come!

Now we've commissioned Bryan to paint a special scene from TQM as a centerpiece for the new place! We can't wait!
