Cheers for the comments Neil. I'm on the S&D commitee now and have voluntered to take over the running of the S&D site 'cos it's ****e as it is and I could do a much better job and make it into a site for Stockport area bowls in general rather than just S&D. There may be changes afoot on that front so watch this space !!. Having said that websites like the Arms one are only as good as the information on them and having done the Arms one this year I'm accutely aware how difficult it is to get any input from anyone (barring one or two). Anyway, as regards the averages my understanding is that it's calculated on your playing average (chalks scored minus chalks against divided by games played) PLUS 1 for each game you've played up to a set maximum number of games. I think this is games you could play in a season minus 2. I've asked the fixture/results secretary for clarification and will let you know when I get it. It's something that could do with going in the handbook.

Nicely Peter good site maybe you should do all of the S&D next year and we could mail you like we do Jeff in the MEN. Can you confirm how the Averages are calculated, is it total final average plus total number of league games minus the usual 2 for holidays?
