Our beloved Husband, Dad and Papa John Shupek passed away on Christmas Day. He fought the good fight to the very end. He loved his website and enjoyed every minute working on it, and it was always a pleasure for him to receive emails from other airplane aficionados. If you want any further information, you may contact me at cshupek@yahoo.com

Welcome to “The Skytamer Ready Room” (Guestbook). I’m a retired Aerospace Engineer with a love for airplanes … ever since I played with my first model airplane circa 1946. As a kid, I wanted to be a fighter pilot. Unfortunately, or fortunately whichever way you want to look at it, I got polio in 1950 and lost the use of my left arm. To compensate for that, I started thinking like an engineer, and eventually became one. So instead of being a fighter pilot, I eventually ended up helping to design airplanes.

I started the Skytamer website in 1998, and it’s been a one-man show ever since. I’m now going on 83, and I will continue to upgrade Skytamer.com until I end up on the brown side of the grass. I designed this website for people like you and me who have a love for airplanes. Note that there are no ads on the Skytamer website, just airplanes, airplane trade cards, travel adventures that my wife and I went on.

I hope you enjoy Skytamer.com.
